Grand Velas Riviera Maya: Ancestral Wellness

At Grand Velas Riviera Maya, 5 de mayo is honored through ancestral healing and holistic well-being. Guests are invited to experience the Páak’am Ritual at the award-winning SE Spa, available at 20% off during the celebration.

This ancient-inspired treatment begins with a traditional Mayan blessing, followed by a sunflower cactus scrub and a massage using warm nopal paddles—harnessing the hydrating and regenerative powers of Mexico’s native prickly pear cactus.
