66 years away from its first edition and having established the original 5-Star rating system for hospitality in the United States, Mobil Travel Guide has evolved into Forbes Travel Guide and is the only independent, global rating agency for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and ocean cruise ships.

Inspectors travel the world evaluating hundreds of standards to give guests the most reliable information on where to stay, dine and relax to celebrate “the world’s finest travel experiences so that you can book with confidence.”

This year, around 2,000 properties (including hotels, restaurants, and cruises) excelled worldwide across the 900 rigorous standards evaluated by inspectors, and only 78 hotels achieved the highest accolade with 5 Stars.

For this reason, we are celebrating, as once again, Grand Velas Los Cabos has been honored with the coveted 5-Star recognition. Undoubtedly, it reaffirms our luxury excellence!
