Vinoma Fest 2026 at Casa Velas: a celebration of wine and gastronomy

Some festivals celebrate a beverage. Others gather culinary talent. And then there is Vinoma Fest 2026, an encounter that brings together wine, pairing, culture, and landscape in a fully immersive experience. From March 5 to 7, Puerto Vallarta transforms into Mexico’s capital of wine and gastronomy, featuring more than 50 national and international wineries, distinctive pairings, and sensory experiences designed to explore the pleasure of the senses.
This year, Vinoma Fest opens its narrative at Casa Velas, selected as the official host for the inaugural evening with the Gala de Sabores. At this eight-course dinner, where wine and cuisine engage in harmonious dialogue against the backdrop of the Pacific.
An evening where every sip tells a story

At the heart of this experience is a tasting menu crafted by some of the most inspiring names in contemporary gastronomy, each contributing their vision, technique, and creativity in tribute to wine and its art of pairing:
A Mexican chef from Guaymas, Sonora, recognized for her sustainable and creative cuisine at Lunario. Her proposal blends gastronomic innovation, respect for the natural environment, and close collaboration with local producers.
Colombian chef and founder of Celele in Cartagena. He has been widely praised for his sustainable approach, highlighting native ingredients and ancestral culinary traditions.
A Mexican chef known for her work at La Casa by Thierry Blouet, a fine-dining restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. Daughter and collaborator of French chef Thierry Blouet, founder of the renowned Café des Artistes, she has established her own culinary identity within Mexico’s contemporary gastronomic scene.
A Spanish chef recognized for his culinary leadership at Sublime Restaurant in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. His concept combines contemporary haute cuisine techniques with Mediterranean inspiration and locally sourced ingredients, positioning him as a notable figure in the gastronomic landscape.
A chef leading Yerba Mala in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, a restaurant celebrated for its creative and sustainable cuisine. Her work merges contemporary techniques with local and wild ingredients, establishing her as one of the country’s emerging gastronomic voices.
A Peruvian chef and master butcher recognized for revolutionizing premium meat culture in Latin America. He is the founder and leader of Osso, the iconic restaurant and butcher shop in Lima, featured among Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants and in the Michelin Guide Brazil 2024.
The menu celebrates the expression of wine in every flavor, accompanied by exclusive pairings curated to highlight the complexity of the selected labels, while signature mixology adds touches of liquid creativity to the experience.
More than a dinner: a landscape for the senses

The “Gala de Sabores” is far more than a dinner—it marks the beginning of a weekend that honors the history, diversity, and culture wine has woven over the years. From guided tastings to immersive experiences exploring the identity of both Mexican and international wines, this edition of Vinoma Fest invites guests to connect with every sip, every aroma, and every conversation.
