Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit has partnered with Caliwater, the famous beverage brand founded by actors Vanessa Hudgens and Oliver Trevena, to offer antioxidant-rich drinks served in various cocktails during the event. Additionally, Tequila Tromba will conduct a distillery workshop with its founder, Master Distiller Marco Cedano, and his son Rodrigo Cedano, Master and Apprentice. Tequila Tromba represents a new revolution in tequila, blending tradition with innovation and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.
The mixology masters
Mexology Fest will feature renowned guest mixologists, each with their unique perspective on mixology:
- Bad Birdy: Known as “The One Woman Show,” Bad Birdy will lead a workshop on aged barrel cocktails, exploring the intricacies of aging in barrels and blending ages to achieve refined flavors.
- Saeed “Hawk” House: Hawk will teach you how to prepare your own raicilla, tequila, and mezcal cocktails at home, challenging you to a blind tasting to choose the winning cocktail.
- Camille Wilson: Hailing from New York, Camille will show you how to make your mocktail, a refreshing way to enjoy cocktails without the hangover.
- Fátima León: As the General Director and co-founder of Runneght/RTD, Fátima is at the forefront of innovative cocktails and non-alcoholic distilled beverages. Recognized as the “Best Bartender in Mexico” in 2017 and eighth globally, she is a certified bar consultant for brands like Johnnie Walker and Don Julio.
- Rayo Cocktail Bar: Represented by Miguel Angel Bolaños Rodríguez and Laura Daniela Jardón Ruiz, this bar, inspired by Mexican mythology, was recently included in the list of the 50 Best Bars in North America in 2023. Miguel Angel and Laura Daniela were finalists in the “Diageo World Class” competition in Mexico in 2022.
- Limantour: A cocktail bar marking liquid trends in Mexico, named one of the 50 Best Bars in the World in 2014, the Best Bar in Latin America in 2015, 2016 & 2017, and the Best Bar in North America in 2022.
