A natural life cycle
At certain times of the year, these koi fish welcome their breeding season. This natural process may produce foam on the surface and a more potent scent — clear signs that new members are on the way.
To ensure the safety of the eggs, we postpone cleaning the pond until the fry have hatched and grown strong enough. It’s a small gesture that helps preserve the vibrancy of this community.
A commitment to their well-being
Our koi receive constant, specialized care. The pond is regularly cleaned using water conditioners safe for their health, and fry are periodically relocated to give them the space they need to grow.
These actions are part of the resort’s commitment to sustainability and respect for all living beings within its facilities.
